The driver shipped with Windows 10 is using version 17: Synaptics Pointing Device Driver Version 17.0.14.3 (Windows 7/8/8.1 64 bit) This seems only partially true since it’s not working like most ClickPads do with two-finger scrolling and tapping on the middle mouse click area does nothing except for one or two right clicks.Īfter googling around I found some interesting threads about using an older driver version than Windows ships with Synaptics TouchPad drivers 15.0 and 16.0 – ThinkPads Forum I found out that my touchpad model is actually recognized as a ClickPad (Synaptics ClickPad 32-bit / 64-bit V8.2 & 1). The system didn’t recognize it, even after downgrading all drivers again to the ones shipped with windows 8.1 by Asus. After upgrading to Windows 10 (64bit) my Asus e200ha wasn’t able to find the touchpad anymore.
